In our previous study, the ε b of the PLA/SiO 2 composite was 9.2% for a 0.5 wt% nanosilica-containing PLA composite, which was higher than value of 4.5% for neat PLA . Thus, incorporating 0.5 wt% PA11 into PLA increases the ε b to as high as 20.5% for the PLA/PA11/SiO 2 (99.5/0.5) composite, a considerable increment of 355% compared with the ε b of neat PLA.
